Guardavalle is where we decided to start.
Living Calabria means taking the time to truly discover it.
Staying in its villages. Meeting the people who live there. Discovering its wines and local products where they are made. Going from the sea to the mountains, experiencing traditions, places and stories that usually remain outside an ordinary holiday.
This is the world we are trying to build.
We started in Guardavalle.
But the idea is much bigger.

A project that combines the real estate and wine heritage of Guardavalle, creating both economic and social value.
1) Hospitality
Bringing empty homes back to life and giving people a different way to experience Calabria.
There are homes in our historic villages that risk remaining empty, while people in Italy and abroad are looking for exactly what these places can offer: quality of life, authenticity, community and a place to return to.
Our aim is to bring these two realities together.
By restoring homes in the historic centre of Guardavalle and creating a network of services around them, we want to make it easier to stay, live and feel part of the village.
Not simply as a tourist.
But as someone who, even for a short time, belongs here.
2) Wine, products and territory
The wine was where our journey began.
It all started with the attempt to recover and enhance the ancient Guardavalle grape, a small native variety that was at risk of disappearing.
But we soon realised something important:
You cannot truly save a local product if the territory that created it is disappearing around it.
So the project became bigger.
Wine, olive oil, citrus fruits, local food, agriculture, producers, traditions and experiences are all part of the same story.
Because experiencing Calabria also means discovering its products where they are born and meeting the people who make them.
A HOME WITHOUT THE WORRIES
No bureaucracy, no technical coordination, no property-management headaches.
Our aim is to create a system that helps people enjoy having a place in Calabria without having to deal with everything on their own.

Who promotes the project
Francesco Quaranta
Agronomist, expert in quality systems and organic production, consultant for over twenty years for important certification companies of branded products and Italian and foreign distributors of organic products. President and founder of the Punta Stilo Business Network and Association, which brings together public bodies, including the Municipality of Guardavalle, private individuals and Calabrian companies and whose main mission is the enhancement of the Calabrian territory and its productions.

Some came for a holiday.
Some were looking for a home in Italy.
Others discovered Guardavalle almost by chance.
And some decided to stay.

Over the years we have started putting the pieces together.
The wine. The homes. Hospitality. Local products. The territory. The people.
Today the project exists.
